1. Bucket filler girlfriends
A circle of women that have your best interest at heart is where you’ll find me. Nothing like a meal, old school music and chilled wine to bring the magic out. The integrity of your friends and circle speaks volumes.
2. Swimming
I’ve never been much of a swimmer however my soul has turned to it this year. I feel it’s like a baptism for me. It really is true. The sea will set you free.
3. Marigolds
New OBSESSION ALERT: marigolds. I have planted them in little pots as I live in a unit. The joy they bring me is wonderful. My mum hadn’t been well and I knew what to do to lift her spirits. I gathered many and we transformed her garden. We created a Monets garden in Ballina. Lots of ponds and blooms.
She sits and watches the birds in the bird bath. It was a bucket filling event for everyone. Getting into the earth and disconnecting from my phone. Bliss.
P.s. I have my phone on silent always. It’s my new thing.
4. Walking
Walking morning and evening even if it’s for 15 mins at a time. It truly is remarkable for my energy and mental health.
5. Prayer
Ok a friend got me onto a Hawaiian chant/prayer/song called Ho'oponopono. I do it in the shower where my prayer life is richest. A few of us are doing it daily.
The core prayer involves repeating four simple phrases—"I'm sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you, I love you".
It’s a lovely addition to my prayer life.
