Our Dream Collab with Alémais

Our Dream Collab with Alémais

When Alemais first launched they immediately grabbed my attention, as there is a lot of synergy between our brands. They have a focus on creativity and uniqueness, the designs are brave with beautifully cut pieces that makes the customers feel and not just look. I love that they transcend ages. My daughter and I both wear Alemais pieces, their styles are multi-generational and long lasting (the opposite to fast fashion). Our partnership in Morocco captivates all elements of nature, beauty, and uniqueness that we crave.

We joined forces with celebrated fashion label Alémais for their much-anticipated Resort 26 Runway Show presented at Musee De L'art Culinaire Marocain! We were their official runway makeup sponsor!

OUR RUNWAY GLOW GUIDE:

Bringing a touch of Australian sun to the international fashion scene, our signature Glory Oil was used as the go-to backstage skin saviour, delivering deep hydration & luminous glow to every model's skin.

WHERE TO STAY

We'd recommend staying in a riad if you're visiting Marrakech. It offers a more authentic and intimate experience than a hotel- You're right in the heart of the Medina, but once inside, it's calm, quiet, and full of warmth. It really lets you soak in the culture while having a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.

THE FOOD

Every morning at our riad began with a traditional Moroccan breakfast-a beautiful mix of sweet and savoury. Charlotte and I especially loved the Baghrir (light, spongy pancakes) and Msemen (layered flatbread), which we'd top with salted butter and honey or fresh cheese.

For dinner, some of our favourite dishes were Tagine, a slow-cooked stew made in a clay pot. We also loved Couscous with vegetables. Chicken Bastilla had such an interesting flavour, it's a sweet and savoury pastry filled with spiced chicken, cinnamon and almonds.

WHERE TO EXPLORE

The souks in the heart of the Medina were a sensory experience-colourful, lively, and full of character. Narrow alleyways opened into stalls overflowing with handcrafted jewellery, embroidered textiles, woven bags, ceramics, spices, fresh pastries and citrusy juices. The energy was vibrant! Just don't get run over by a motorcycle or a donkey!
