The weather is slowly warming up here in Australia, which only means one thing: our minds at Eco Tan HQ are starting to dream of days spent outdoors with our feet in the sand… and our Natural Rosehip Sunscreen always within arm’s reach.
Sun safety is something we’re super passionate about, which is why we made our amazing sunscreen for every activity and every skin type. And before you call us bias, this amazing product is made from all-natural, eco-friendly ingredients, is perfect for sensitive skin and is sustainably packaged with post-consumer recycled materials. Like we said, pretty amazing.
Whether you’re in the water, working up a sweat or enjoying some R&R this summer, our sunscreen is your ultimate sidekick and protection against fire ball sun rays! Here are a few of our favourite things to do in the warmer months:
Try snorkelling over beautiful coral reefs
If you haven’t already, make it your mission this summer to get up close and personal with some beautiful marine life. Whether you dust off the old snorkelling gear sitting in your garage or book a professional tour, there is no better way to spend a summer’s day.
Of course, any beach day needs to be paired with a great sunscreen, and our Natural Rosehip Sunscreen is the perfect option. Not only is our all-natural formulation water resistant for up to three hours, but it’s also reef-friendly. We said ‘no thanks’ to oxybenzone, a common ingredient in sunscreens that is linked to ruining coral reefs and diminishing the beauty of the underwater world. You know us; we not only want to keep your skin safe, but our environment safe too. This is why our sunscreen is a win-win for everyone!
Hiking is the new nightclub
If you’re lucky enough to live near a National Park, we suggest you pack a picnic lunch and spend the day exploring everything it has to offer. Getting out of the house and into nature is great for the mind, body and soul. You will literally feel your stress and worries melt away as you breathe the fresh air and walk further amongst the trees. By the time you leave, we guarantee you’ll feel on top of the world. Bonus points if there’s a waterfall nearby for a post-hike swim.
Pump up the tyres and go bike riding
Bike riding is fast becoming a national recreational habit. You can’t be looking at a screen whilst riding a bike (well, I’m sure you could try, but we don’t recommend it), which makes it an amazing mindful activity to do either by yourself or in a group. Put on your helmet, grab a basket, fill it with water, snacks and our sunscreen and you’ll be all set for a day spent exploring on two wheels.
